Your Word is a shield to the unkind

Arming us with life-giving truth

For in the direction of our strongest thoughts

Our life will move

Beliefs are inclinations of the heart

Your Word can help pull us out of the dark

Shining light and manifesting in abundance 

Creating fundamental connection

Leading into words, followed by actions

In a world craving kindness

Take a moment to create focus

The loudest voice we hear is our own

Our self-talk, quiet but so powerful

Pray Your Word will saturate our thoughts

To shape the reality of who we are

Help Your voice be the loudest in my life

Sticks and stones may break my bones

And hurtful words negatively impose

But Scripture is the antidote

Using thoughtful verbiage

Pain can be so poetic

Handing you my heart from my chest

Taking off the bullet proof vest

Every challenge, victory, setback and step forward

Provides an opportunity of something to be grateful for

God gives us gifts,

And His greatest one is Christ within

Words have power

They can shed or dim your light

Remaining sensitive to life’s difficulties

Affecting each person differently and individually

There’s beauty in finding your people

You connect and pray for each other’s struggles

This spiritual concern from others is humble

Loving your neighbor, priority of the highest level

Communication is powerful

Blueprint for operating intentional

Living a life that’s valuable

Sharing our love for Him

No longer seeing others as enemies or competition

We’re all His children

Designed to be together

Speak the truth in love to one another

Making each other better

There’s big growth through actions seeming small

Leaning on community holding you accountable 

Loved and not alone
